Children's Ministry - Deploy

Trinity Kids ministry is designed for the youngest church-goers, It offers solid, biblically based programs for Early Childhood, along with programs designed for Elementary school-age children.  For a list of our Children’s Ministry values, click here.  For an overview of the entire Children's Ministry program, click here or to find out what’s happening this month check out our Elementary Newsletter.

When you attend church, you want your children to learn, and you know they learn best when they’re having a little fun (or maybe even a lot of fun?)!  Trinity Kids is everything a child could want at church. From infants through fifth grade, your children enjoy a morning of music, art, games, discussion groups, and creative biblical teaching about God in a language they can understand. In other words, they are bound to have fun!

Beyond the normal Children's Ministry offerings, children have a special opportunity to sing and perform in our Children’s Choirs.  There are two choirs that children can participate in: first through third grade (Sonshine Choir) and fourth through sixth grade (Promiseland Choir).

  • Sonshine Choir
First through third graders learn about music and singing while practicing for various performances. In addition, Sonshine Choir helps them learn to pray together, have small group time, and experience what it means to praise God through music. Sonshine Choir meets during the 9:15 a.m. Sunday service.
  • Promiseland Choir
Fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in the Promiseland Choir perform in a spring musical, and perform occasionally at the Sunday adult worship services. Children sing and learn about worshipping God through music. They also spend time praying, memorizing verses from the Bible, and learning more about Jesus. The Promiseland Choir meets during the 11 a.m. Sunday service.

Both choirs provide children with a unique opportunity to explore and develop their ability to worship God and serve others through music. Class time focuses on rehearsing music to be presented during occasional Sunday morning worship services and the Spring Children's Musical. Several community performances may be scheduled. Children learn to honor God as they prayerfully prepare for each practice and performance. These concepts, along with basic music theory, are integrated through a variety of fun games, activities, and music.
