The primary purpose of the Deacons Ministry is to provide compassionate care for the poor and needy. Their ministry includes:
- Budget Coach/One-on-One Budget Coaching
A budget coach meets with individuals and couples after they have completed a financial profile to make biblical recommendations and provide accountability in the area of their financial decisions and practices. - Car Ministry
This ministry serves single women and widows with oil changes, car repair, and training under the hood. - Handy Man List
There are always people in need of a hand with odd jobs around the house. The Deacons maintain a list of people skilled in plumbing, construction, electrical, etc., who are willing to help those in need. - Widows Plus Ministry
The Deacons host a "Widows Plus" brunch on a regular basis. Here they serve lunch and offer fellowship. They also offer programs such as the Windows Plus workday and Adopt a Widow.
