The primary purpose of the Deacon Ministry is to provide compassionate care for the poor and needy. The Deacon Ministry includes:
- Deacons Assistance
Individuals and families who attend Trinity and who are in need may seek financial assistance from the Deacons. Assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis after meeting with a Deacon team for evaluation.
- Budget Counseling and Budget Classes
A budget coach meets with individuals and couples after they have completed a financial profile to make biblical recommendations and to provide accountability in the area of financial decisions and practices.
- Car Ministry
This ministry serves God by either repairing the cars of, or providing donated vehicles to, needy recipients who have been approved by the Deacons. They also provide single women, widows and others in need with oil changes and vehicle inspections every quarter. -
Widowers Ministy
The goal of this ministry is to come along side of Widowers, encourage each man and help mentor him along in life. It is also seeks to be a prayer partner and a listening ear as a man goes through his grief, a support system for the person and help show him where God is in all that is happening in his life. To also encourage him to connect with different Trinity Programs when he is ready so that he will continue to grow to be the man that God has planned him to be. Contact Dave Hagerman or Tom Albert .
- Widows Plus Ministry
The Deacons host "Widows Plus" brunches on a regular basis, serving lunch and offering fellowship to our widows and older single women. They also provide assistance with tasks around the home and yard, small handyman repairs, car inspections and oil changes.
- Deacon Food Pantry
Thursday evening Deacon Food Pantry is available to Deacon clients in need of food, paper products, and hygiene products.
- Care Ministry Counseling
Trinity support is available for lay/pastoral counseling, marriage counseling, pre-marital counseling, and support groups.
