Let's put our "Love In Action!"

Due to the economic crisis in Michigan, last year a 32% increased need was reported by Lansing Food Banks. In surrounding areas (Mason, Haslett, Dewitt, etc.), first-time families requesting help was up by 18%.  These numbers have continued to increase this year.  Within the last 2 months, Ingham County alone has helped 362 new families.  The unmet meal gap is at 36%.  Many food banks have been unable to meet demands and are turning families away.  More info...

(Note: The Databox Teams have 10 people on each team—2-4 to unload boxes from trucks, 2 to carry boxes to trunks of those distributing, 2 take the tally church information of the driver/volunteer, 2 pass out the Map/prayercard/Participating Churches Flyer = 10 total.  We need 8 teams of 10!)

Event:  The Church of Greater Lansing Project: Food Drop—Let's Put Our "Love In Action!"
The Goal:  To help “Stomp out Hunger” for the month of February!
                  To succeed, we need to feed 3,000 families x $25/box = $75,000.
