Well outdoorsmen, it is that time again, the time we all eagerly await the rest of the year for, deer season! With this season fast approaching, Tom Forton, our resident expert deer processor, is once again putting on a Deer Processing Class. This is a wonderful opportunity to come and see how it is done the right way, in a setting like no other. He is once again holding it at MSU, in their meat laboratory. This is not your typical classroom where pictures are drawn on the black board and videos are shown…this is live, and the real deal, from start to finish, in a classroom with stadium like seating. If you have ever wondered how to properly clean your deer in the field, or how to process your deer for the table, if you choose to attend, you will no doubt leave with a much better understanding of how to accomplish this.
All are welcome. We encourage you to bring your young hunters to help teach them to get off on the right foot. So come join Tom and his help reveal the steps to take from the trail to the table on how to process your own deer.
