God's mission is not just a pragmatic notion to be nice to all peoples. We seem to have lost the unique calling to specific ministry, specific response, and/or specific people. This weekend we want to unpack the concept that responding to Jesus and becoming obedient followers will develop an attitude that will meet whatever 'call' comes our way.
Jim Tebbe will share his testimony of God's call (including recent events in his life) and bring the message based on Isaiah 6:1-13. Jim is the rector (president) of Forman Christian College (a Chartered University) in Lahore, Pakistan. Established in 1864 by a Presbyterian missionary. Forman has educated many of Pakistan's top leaders. The college was nationalized almost 40 years ago, but in 2002 it was returned to Christian community operation For more information see http://www.intervarsity.org/news/tebbes-new-neighborhood
