I love the Praise & Prayer nights. There is always a great sense of togetherness. But that’s bound to happen when we spend time praying with each other and praying for each other. It’s the responsibility of the church (you and me!) to prayer for marriages, families, the leadership of the church, the government, those without Christ, the sick, the needy and the forgotten. It’s also vital that we pray for each other.
Psalm 121 v. 1, 2 , “I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and Earth"
Families are welcome to come and sit together and worship together. What a wonderful chance for parents and grandparents to model prayer for their children. And if the kids make a bit of noise, that’s okay. The evening comprises of a medley of prayer and worship interwoven. We will spend time in individual prayer, group prayer and then praying together as a church body. We promise we will not make you stand up and pray out loud, but we will we challenge everyone there to come before God with honesty and openness.
