Structure is like the skeleton. The Bible teaches that church is the body of the Christ, and every body has to have a skeleton to hold it together. Every church has a structure behind it. Some of them prevent growth while some of them encourage growth. Some of them are good while some of them aren’t.
Our leadership structure consists of Elders, Deacons, and a paid Staff Team. Within each of these groups there are various sub-groups. We are a team-based ministry as the Elders, Deacons, and Staff all work collaboratively to accomplish the purposes that God has for us. We believe that:
• Christ is the head of the church.
• Elders are given authority in the Bible to oversee the church which includes items such as teaching, shepherding and organizational leadership.
• The church is made up of members that the Bible calls “the body.”
• In the Bible there is no mandated way to structure a church ministry.

Trinity Church has always been a Non-Denominational Church. We are an independent church. There is no denominational control or hierarchy as there is in most denominations. We are self-governed and determine our own affairs under the headship of Jesus Christ. For example:
• We choose our own pastor.
• We own our own buildings and assets.
• We determine our own ministry programs.
• We prayerfully determine the vision and direction.
