Love Lansing Christmas

Pray (Month of november)

During the month of November, churches have an opportunity to join together in prayer for the people of Lansing as we move toward Christmas.

give (december 3/4)

Churches have the opportunity to collect and give financially to support Love Lansing: Christmas. Give online using the link below.

Serve (December 10, 9am-Noon)

Churches will gather to serve the lost and forgotten at Christmas.  We will meet at Trinity Church on Saturday December 10 at 9:00 am to pack and deliver gift bags and food boxes to the following groups of people on a single day of love, generosity, and service:

  • Seniors living in state-assisted nursing homes
  • School Teachers in under-resourced public schools
  • Residents of low-income housing complexes

celebrate (Decemeber 10, 2:00-5:00pm)

Partner churches will meet to celebrate the Gospel story of a Savior sent to seek and save the lost.  We’ll meet at the Southside Community Center (formerly Harry Hill Auditorium) for a family-friendly Christmas party for our south side neighbors, featuring music, crafts, prizes, food, family fun and a Christmas Story show by Friends of the Groom, a storytelling/drama troupe from Cinncinnati.

all month long

grab a hanger, give a coat

We’re collecting new or “clean and gently used” coats, hats, mittens, gloves, and boots for families who will attend our Love Lansing: Christmas Celebration! Grab a hanger in the atrium and give the gift of warmth to a child or adult in need.

Can’t afford a coat?

North School kids need North Star T-Shirts!  Bring your donations back to Trinity by Nov. 30.

Visit the atrium table for more information.
