SHE is Trinity Church's ministry for women! We love to come alongside women of all ages as we follow Jesus together. SHE provides you with opportunities to discover hope, develop faith, and deploy love with other women in your season of life — together becoming disciples ... who make disciples ... who make disciples!
SHE follows Jesus. Jesus Christ lived a life of purpose, making disciples for the Kingdom As women of Trinity, we want to let Him live this mission out through us!
We love the words of Psalm 1, with just a slight change: “SHE is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in season, and its leaf does not wither…” This picture of a tree soaking up God’s Word and becoming deeply rooted and grounded in Him is our vision for Trinity women. SHE offers you a number of opportunities to develop faith, growing deeper in your knowledge of God and His Word - while getting to know other women in community, too!
- SHE Rests: A Mini-Retreat for Women
Saturday morning 9 a.m. to noon, once in fall and once in spring
Our next SHE Rests is coming up on October 23, 2010. This mini-retreat is a gift for you – a gift of time with Jesus, resting in His presence. He invites us to come away and spend time with Him, to listen to His voice, and to find a new way to live in Him (Isaiah 55:1-3). Come, listen live . . . SHE invites you into His presence for a morning of solitude and rest.
SHE…Seeks Him Everyday. - Women’s Groups
SHE offers some women’s small groups that meet in homes during the week, learning and developing faith together. And we have numerous small groups that come together to meet in our mid-size communities on Wednesday nights and Thursday mornings in Women2Day and Women2Night. Come study the Word and grow together with us! - Women2Day/Women2Night
SHE will be studying two separate studies during the Summer 2010. Both studies will begin on June 16th. Vision of His Glory by Anne Graham Lotz brings clarity to the awesome imagery of the book of Revelation--and guides us to an intimate encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Registration cost is $16 and can be paid in the Bookshop. Also being offered, The Frazzled Female helps women to find peace in the midst of daily life. Fees are $14 and can be paid in the Bookshop. Be part of a small group of women in a community of small groups right here at the church. For Fall 2010, Women2Night will meet Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm from September 22-November 17; Women2Day Thursdays from 9:15 to 11:00 a.m. from September 23- November 18. Register in the Book Shop or at the first session. - Precepts This in-depth study gives you the tools to learn to study the Bible for yourself. Meet with our Precepts group on Tuesday afternoons from 12:00 to 2:30, beginning September 2010. Register in the Book Shop; book fee is $20. Sorry, no child care is available for this study.
- BSF
BSF in not a Trinity study, but an international Bible study with a women's group meeting at Trinity on Monday nights. BSF offers you the opportunity to dig into the Bible through personal study, small group discussion, large-group teaching time, and excellent resource notes. The first Monday of every month is an introduction night where women can drop in, learn more, and register for the study. BSF meets Mondays from 6:45 to 9:00 pm from September through mid-May. A children's program for elementary, middle and high schoolers is also available on Monday nights.
